Food. We all love it. For many of us, it’s a way for us to show our creativity, share our love, or even re-kindle old memories and feelings of a certain dish we loved in our past. My name is Katie Tiesman and cooking is my passion. I want to share my experiences inside and out of the kitchen with you, giving you the stories and emotions behind the dish and hopefully teaching a thing or two. Like many, my initial skills were passed down to me from being in the kitchen with my amazing mother. Pair those skills with watching (Spanish) cooking shows since I four-years-old and spending way too much time googling recipes and how-to’s, and here you have one self-taught home cook. I am always working on my craft by trying new things so that I can be a better version of myself than I was yesterday. So welcome and please join me on my journey through life, dish by dish.
